Lessons From Britney Gooch

  1. Always Ask God For Wisdom & Knowledge

At the start of every month, Britney asks God to give her the wisdom for that month. She understands that people perish because of a lack of knowledge. Britney says, “wisdom is my secret. I always seek out wisdom to deal with my endeavors.”

  1. Surround Yourself With Mentors

Britney surrounds herself with many mentors that guide her in life and business although Britney did not finish college, she has psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists with master’s degrees and doctors who work for her. By surrounding herself with these professionals, she became a sponge and learns as much as she can. She asks them to hold her accountable and allows them to steer her in the right direction when she feels defeated.

Therefore it would help if you are starting to surround yourself with who you want to be. If what you want to take ten years, it can only take six months to a year if you surround yourself with people who have already been where you want to be. Meaning you can achieve that goal much faster.

  1. Be Disciplined

Discipline is another thing that can propel you to great heights. Britney is very disciplined. One time she had an opportunity to go to the Ellen show for her 30-day Christmas giveaway with her family. They had been to the Ellen show about five times in one year. During the first show, Britney won money. However, when they were invited for the 30-day giveaway she wasn’t able to go because she was in the process of starting another business. That is called discipline. Staying focused on your goals and not turning your face to other things will pay off in the end.

Therefore, to be successful, be disciplined, surround yourself with mentors, and ask God for wisdom.
