Before you plan your social media strategy, the first thing you should do is have a target audience. You can define who your target audience is by creating a buyer persona. A buyer persona is a draft of certain general attributes that differentiate the persons you aim to sell to.
Some of the elements of a buyer persona include; age, demographics, average income, and so on. My Success Pros helped me create a perfect buyer’s persona.
Next, we set definite goals. To successfully implement your social media strategy, it is crucial that you set clear goals and objectives for these strategies. They told us goals should be SMART; Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timely. These will help you measure whether your social media strategy is effective.
WHAT ELSE DID THEY HELP YOU WITH?
Engaging content differs on different social media platforms. So, it’s crucial that you research which content is regarded as relevant and engaging for each platform.
In addition, not every social media platform suits the kind of content or strategy you must implement. Thus, you must stick to those that are beneficial to you.
Next, we researched my competitors. It’s a known fact that you must know what your competitors are doing right or wrong so you can leverage this knowledge to improve your strategy. After posting your content, they helped me engage my users by answering their questions and acknowledging their tags.
After doing the above, we conducted a test to check whether what we had done had any impact. We used industry standard tools for this.
